Facilitators at RSW come from a unique perspective. Most team building facilities come from an administrative or human resource perspective. Because of that, they overlook some of the true problems in the workplace environment, including those caused by management themselves.
Of course this perspective is not very popular by entrepreneurs and human resource departments which is a shame because dismissing employee input can have detrimental effects on the everyday business. They want to shape their business within their own personal vision disregarding the personal talents and needs of their employees thus cramping production and workplace moral. Although not always the case, this is most often when the breakdown occurs.
After working with facilities as both an employee, manager, and supervisor combined with years of coaching in holistic health science, the owner if RSW has developed programming to combat much of the above program. This programming can be applied to both the employee side and to the employer side.
Failed recognition by the employer of employee talents, over time, results in decrease production, workplace toxicity, and a growing wedge between the haves and the have nots within a workplace. Careful recognition on both side of the coin can help to start bolstering work relations thus producing a more positive environment that support the gifting of individuals and the success of a business.
The facilitators at RSW have worked from both perspectives; employee and employer in the past. They have coaching or counselling experience and experience in developing educational products. They also have experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments and some have worked with accommodations and labour law in the past.
